Anup Upadhyay is an Indian actor who became popular for his appearance in the Indian crime drama film, ' Chamku' in 2008, in Hindi comedy film, ' Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke' in 2010 and in WOH in 2004. Among these three movies, only the 2010’s 'Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke', made him successful. He also made a horror episode in the comedy sitcom, 'Lapataganj' on SAB TV, where he played the fun and loving character of Chatteshwar ‘Chotu’ Shukla, also known as Motu Mama.
His appearance became a big hit to the viewers and later, he has essayed to do triple avatars. Anup said, his characters in this sitcom are the most challenging among all. Anup is originally based in Mumbai. He had finished his studies in the Manohar Bhushan Inter College in Bareilly and graduated from Allahabad University, India. He has worked so much in the entertainment world and mostly, he has performed the cameo roles in TV serials.
No matter what people told him, Anup used to answer them with his famous line, “Yeh Kaam To Pitaji Kiya Karte The”.
