Samiksha Bhatnagar is a popular model and Indian television actress from Dehradun. She made it into the Indian television by a series of modelling projects and ended up with a show on Sony Entertainment Television’s “ Kya Huaa Tera Vaada” in which she did a cameo. The show was a story of a young couple with three children and their struggle with life.
Samiksha was also chosen for a negative role in Sahara One’s show “Niyati”. The show was based on the struggle of Niyati- the lead with life. She also played the role of a cop in Star Plus’ crime-based show “ Arjun”.
Samiksha’s career went uphill when she got signed for two big shows. In these two shows, she has been given pivotal roles. Baal Veer in the channel SAB TV in 2008. It is a fantasy based show. Samiksha plays the role of one of the nine fairies, shown in the serial. Her character’s name is Vijdhar Par who has the power of bijli and protects people from evil intentions.
Star Plus’s Veera is the other show which brought her to the mainstream. She plays the role of Gurmeet. Her character is a very positive woman who is devoted to her husband and his family. Samiksha says, “It is because this was for the first time that I got to play a Punjabi role.”
Samiksha has also done a film called “Apne Ghayal Indian” in 2012. She plays the lead role in this movie. Her character starts as a twenty two year old lady who later on becomes a politician and helps people. The film was released in Nagpur and other smaller places.
Samiksha has her focus on the small screen as she has landed up with two major roles in the most fabled channels of the Indian television.
